He is one of the richest men of China and has a net worth of US $ 47.8 billion, as of November 2017.He is one of the most influential businessmen, a great leader & philanthropist known in the world. Jack Ma had applied to Harvard University 10 times & got rejected. He visited USA in 1999 looking for venture capitalists to start Alibaba but found no investors.
He started his company Alibaba, a China-based business-to-business marketplace site with 18 of his friends working at his home. Jack Ma had a clear vision of how internet could change the way business is conducted for small & medium organizations. He saw the opportunity where no one else could see. He believed in himself & did not give up on his dreams when the going was tough.
Anything
worthwhile takes time, sacrifice, and effort. The
more difficult the challenge
is the more rewarding the victory would be. The most meaningful undertakings in
life are those that don’t come quickly or easily. So don’t give up on your
dreams, keep them alive. Learn from your mistakes & keep moving forward,
small steps in the right direction .Don’t look for reasons to quit instead look
for reasons to keep going on, you can find that too.
