5 Steps For Dealing With Failures

Many people are scared of failures.

But being scared, will only lead you to fail harder.

There is not a single person who has not seen failure.
I have failed many many times too.

Learning to "make peace" with failure is very essential if you aim for Success.

If we let fear of failure to takeover our emotions, then that means we are giving
it power to take us “backwards”.
So instead of being paralyzed by failure, take charge of it and use my below
mentioned strategies.
# Move on:
Instead of obsessing over your failure, learn something from it and move on.
Quickly take a positive step and leave the depressing thoughts behind.
# Don’t personalize failure:
Just because you have failed in finding a successful way to do something,
doesn’t mean you are a failure.
Doing so will destroy your self-confidence.
It may be that the circumstances around you are not as mature as you.
e.g. Every seed needs a particular weather to flourish.
It is the weather and not always the seed which is a failure in that situation.
# Take your time:
Everyone cannot recover from a failure overnight.
Take time but use this time wisely to analyze your failure and how to progress
faster next time.
# Don’t worry about other people's judgement:
Don’t get affected by what people say around you when you fail.
It is your life and only you have the ultimate power to judge yourself, and you
know that you will succeed next time.
# Educate Yourself, Take Help, Make effective use of Time and most importantly
read or listen motivational stuff.
This will make you stronger and creative to overcome the failures.
Michael Jordan said it best:
“I have missed more than Nine thousand shots in my career. I have lost almost
Three hundred games. On twenty six occasions I have been entrusted to take the
game winning shot, and I missed.
I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

4 Steps For A Productive Day

These steps will help you take control of the day.
Step 1: Get up early
You may not be a morning person. But mornings are very useful and powerful
and should be used to set up a positive tone for your day.

You are not much likely to get distracted during the morning hours giving you time
 to concentrate on some toughies.

You should decide your agenda for the day before you even actually start
your work for the day.

All the successful people use this technique. This gives you power over your day.
Step 2: Make a to-do list for the day
Don't keep all your tasks in your head. Pour it out and put it on paper or a
to-do list on your phone or computer.

This leaves your mind free to do what it is best at. Think and imagine and
 work out solutions.

It also prevents information overload with things you could avoid taking
 up space in your brain.

Think of this as tidying up and documenting information in your brain in a
more visual way.
This way you will be able to see clearly what all tasks you have completed
and what all are left thus helping you stay mentally focused.

Also striking off things you have done from your to-do list gives you a sense
of accomplishment.
Step 3: Learn to say ‘NO’
You should also learn to say no.

For many of us, this is the toughest aspect of managing time.

Instead of feeling guilty, be happy that you are not over committed.

Just be careful that you are not ‘being used’ while maintaining relations.

But this does not mean that you should be mean to those around you.

Learn how to politely refuse, direct them to someone else who could help out
or suggest a later time.
Step 4: Have a regular sleep schedule
Not getting the right amount of sleep means you won’t be able to concentrate
on anything the next day.

This will affect your productivity. So give enough rest for your mind and body
so they can in-turn reward you with a highly productive day.

Have a Wonderful Productive Days Ahead, guys.

Work-Life Balance: What Can You Do For It ?

few years ago I wanted a perfect Work-Life Balance.

However as I strive for Perfection I realized that it's not easy to achieve.

But it is essential for our emotional well-being.
Some of its benefits are as follows:
# Improved health
# More time for hobbies
# Can have a better social life
# Increased life satisfaction

Here are few things which helped me achieve a better work-life balance:
## Choose your career wisely:
If you choose to opt something you love, then maintaining a balance will never
be stressful. So how ever exhausting the day was, you will be satisfied and in
a better mood when you reach home.
## Give importance to personal goals too:
Professional achievements are important, but that should not be your only priority.
From office work you will never get importance for your personal goals.
You have to deliberately schedule it your self.
## Manage time effectively:
Have an organised time-frame for both work and home.
Working even when you reach home will reduce the quality time you can spend
with your spouse or children.
## Don’t be greedy:
Be passionate about your work but not greedy.
Working overtime just for promotion can never be counted as passion.

Again you are reducing the time you could have spent to take care of your
personal needs.
## Identify priorities:
Make a to-do list and prioritize it according to their importance. Be sure to keep
some time to spend with your family daily in the high priority list (as little as 10
mins is a good start )
In short
Respect your "Me-time"
and this will greatly help you to reduce your stress level and maintain a Healthy life.

All the Best and Stay in Touch.

3 Steps To Handle Bossy Co-Workers

Dominating colleagues can make your office time, a hell on earth.

They can seriously affect your productivity as their constant bossiness can disturb your peace of mind.

Such situations should be addressed early itself so that the person does not feel to boss over you always. If you let it wait then it will become a set pattern.

Here are the 3 steps to handle bossy co-workers without making the situation worse:

This technique works most of the time because as you look in their eyes and Smile they get the feeling that something is wrong. As you are not reacting to their tone or words you get the control of the situation, not they.

Bossy people are in some state of mind. Breakthrough that state of mind by asking them questions. My favorite question is, ” Can you please tell me EXACTLY what you want ? ” (Stress on the word EXACTLY.)

Most bossy people can’t tell EXACTLY what THEY WANT.
You are the WINNER as you knocked them OUT of the Bossy STATE.

If the co-worker is being bossy to make fun of you, then not reacting to them immediately, helps. SLOW reaction annoys bossy people but at the same time you are gaining the control of the situation.

You Can Control Your Emotions.
Others May Disturb But You Control.
Control the Situation, not People.
Choose to Be Happy Than RIGHT.
