It is said, “There are no short-cuts to success.” And in the case of Entrepreneurship it is absolutely true. So what is that one virtue that makes an entrepreneur successful? It is persistence. As it is aptly said by Steve Jobs “I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”
Taking a decision to become an entrepreneur is hard but sticking by that decision with no immediate success is hardest. Many times as an entrepreneur you have to work for years together with no success at all and face extreme challenges and social pressure. These challenges would dampen your spirits and force you to quit. The only thing that can help you sail through in the time of adversities is your persistence. To overcome the hurdles and to bring your entrepreneurial dream into reality you have to keep trying and not get bogged down by failure. Here is a beautiful analogy of a river, “A river cuts through a rock not because of its power but its persistence.” So do not give up, hold on to that ‘can-do it’ attitude and keep learning from your failures.
Because, “You will never know if you don’t keep trying, the next time might be your time to success.”
All the Best and Stay in Touch.
