In business
everything works around the customer. The sole purpose of the business is to
resolve the problems or provide solutions to its customers. As it’s said “A
customer is the most important visitor on our premises; he is not dependent on
us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption to our work. He is the
purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are
not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing a favour by giving us an
opportunity to do so.”-Gandhi .Having said that the best sales people are
those who know how to build excellent relationships.
The sales people are
the true face of the business. They are the ones who actually interact with the
customers and get to know their needs and requirements. Excellent sales people
would be those who would not just focus on numbers but those who would consider
customers as their priority, the ones who would be good listeners, who have
belief in their product and know in and out about it, who are prepared to anticipate
the questions of the customer and answer them effectively, and empathetic
enough to understand the problems of their customers putting themselves in
their shoes and providing solutions to them.

sell. In business you’re always selling: to your prospects, investors and
employees. To be the best salesperson put yourself in the shoes of the person
